 Made
of Gold, unnumbered, the Gold Star was one of the highests
award or the People's Republic of Bulgaria. Instituted on
15 June 1948 and awarded for outstanding and lasting
services and devotion to the People's Republic. Recipients
are also awarded the Order of Georgi
Dimitrov.
It weighs 9.8g and is on a square suspension
with fastening pin and red ribbon. I bought it at the 15th Zeige
Auction (lot 859).
