Order
of the Red Banner of Labour (Type 2) |
|
Instituted
4 May 1955 by Government Decree no. 24, made of gold plated
silver (900 proof) with red enamel flag and star on obverse
(by Zukov). The medal is quite intricate and on the reverse
depicts the Czechoslovak coat of arms after 1960 when the
Country was renamed the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and
the lion was re-designed to include a star. It misses a document
but is in very good condition with medal bar (no. 12740).
