medal was established on 9 May 1994 by Decree no. 930 of
the President of the Russian Federation, thus after the dissolution
of the USSR. It was awarded to WW II veterans and commemorated
the 10ooth anniversary of the birth of G.K Zhukov. The award
document is blank ready for an deserving owner as it is properly
stamped and signed (facsimile). Unissued condition.
