  Medal of Ushakov

Established on 3 March 1944, awarded for personal valor and courage at sea to marines, soldiers, sargents and warrant officers of the Soviet Navy and marine divisions of the Frontier Troops (16.000 issued). In good condition, silver, without a document, number 8932. Two piece construction with a soldered ring that used to be finished-off by hand in the Mondvor (the only "hand made" award thus). In a later variation it was stamped from one piece.
