 Instituted only on 8.8.1962. Undocumented but in excellent
condition and quite rare. Apparently very few individuals
ever received an award already after 10 years of service (it
was much more common to be decorated after 15 or 20 years
when individuals proved themselves sufficiently or were close
to retirement). MOOP medals are also incommon because
the then 13 Republican Ministries of Protection of Public
Order existed only for four years until 1966 (re-named as
Ministries of Interior again).
