Established
27 December 1938 (also known as "Medal for Labor Heroism"),
made of silver, 2.300.000 issued and ranks above the "Medal
for Distinguished Labor". This is the first type produced.
It is very rare with a known number range from 178 to 14403
and has the word Mondvor on the fastening plate. The latter
variation 2 had a thicker (4mm) fastening screw, the words
Monetnij Dvor on the fastening plate with a space between
the Red Star and the rim of the medal with a number range
17487 – 33879. There was also no line under the letters No
preceding the number.
Later types were on five sided suspension with and without
number.
