the Defence of the Caucasus | |
Instituted
on 1 May 1944 with some 870.000 issued. This is variation
1 (soldered ring), sub-variation 1 as it has a "cap"
on the handle of the sickle on the reverse. Variation 2 had
the ring part of the medal flat and variation 3 was round.
