Established
21 June 1961 and awarded to all servicemen whoparticipated
in the capture of Vienna from 16 March 1945 to 13 April 1945.
Made of brass, in 4 variations. This is variation 2 where
the ring is part of the medal and u-shaped, variation 1 is
separately soldered, in variation 4 the ring is also part
of the medal but round. 275.000 were issued.
