Instituted on 17.10.1938 with some 5 million issued (only
27.000 before the Great Patriotic War). Made of silver,
issued before 1943 (on a square suspension), stamped no. 244473
with soldered ring and saber hilt curved down. I have one
more piece with a much lower number (52096 see Awards
for exchange).
