Established
on 20 May 1976 with some 600.000 awarded. Aluminium alloy
and red enamel this is variation 2 with the LMD stamp on the
ring. Variation 3 has two LMD stamps and variation 4 is quite
rare, gold plated. Only 1.000 are said to have been issued
and was reputedly issued only to officers and has a rarity
rating 3.
