Established
19 June 1943. Until 1960 about 930.000 issued, until 1985
1.470.000. The ring is part of the medal (not soldered like
variation 1), weighs only 15.6g as its from a lighter metal
than earlier variations which weighed 16.8g. On variation
1 there were two types of stamp: one has the line of the horizont
only to the letters and not protruding on the sides (variation
1a) and the other is to the rim of the medal (variation 1b).
