 The
medal, issued by the Ministry of Interior, is quite intricate
for a Moldovan award as it is constructed from several pieces.
It is nevertheless made of a light alloy on a rectangular suspension
with the Moldovan tricolors (like Romanian). All colouring is
cold enamel. The "1992-2002" recalls the 10th
Anniversary a Ministry of Interior Unit no. 1001. Like other
Moldovan awards it is reputedly made in Romania although recently
State orders are being made in Moscow in the Monetnij Dvor.
I am trying to find out how many people received this medal
and for what.
