Red
Star | |
Instituted
on 6.4.1930 with some 4 million issued. This is a very late
type 3 var. 4 (a so called Monetnij Dvor flared star edges,
no screwpost base). Like with var. 2 the bajonet points between
the letters o&e (with variations 1&2 it pointed between
the letters s&o). In excellent condition (number range 3757722
– 3840622). It's number is engraved with a rotating tool (3774861)
and dates it between 1982 and 1988. I got it from a collector
in Odessa, it is one of my highest Red Star numbers.
