Variation 2R1
  October Revolution

Order of the October Revolution (Îðäåí «Îêòÿáðüñêîé Ðåâîëþöèè» Orden Oktjabr'skoj Revolyutsii). Created for the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution, this order was awarded to individuals or groups for services furthering communism or the state or in enhancing the defences of the Soviet Union.
106,462 were awarded.

Solid silver with golden hammer and sickle featuring the Cruiser Aurora which gave the signal to strom the St. Petersburg Winter Palace - the start of the Great October Revolution. This version started in 1974) when the construction was altered from four joint pins (see detail of reverse of the five pins on this version). Evidently heavily worn but with document and in very nice conditon with all email intact. I have several spare copies of this beautiful Order, some with documents and others without. See the awards for exchange page or contact me!
