 | | Red
Banner of Labour | | Order of the Red Banner of Labour (Орден Трудового Красного Знамени Orden Trudovogo Krasnogo Znameni), instituted on 7 September 1928 and awarded for exceptional service in scientific achievement, public or government service. It was established as the civilian counterpart of the military Order of the Red Banner and was awarded for exceptional working achievements
 This is t6 v2 with
the hammer under the sickle on avers and "ring" on
reverse and no line under number (variation 2b had a line).
According to the document tt was awarded 16 August 1966 in Azerbaijan.
Quite common due to mass production (about 1.2 million awarded)
with many earlier variations (until 1943 it was a screwback).
Very intricate and practically forgery proof, made of silver
with some gold plating.  Good condition - most excellent
specimen but no document.  I have some spares - see the awards for exchange
                  page! Ribbon:
