 Instituted
in 1935 with some 1,5 milllion awards issued altogether (many
variations due to mass production in several mints). Early versions
were screw-backs
issued until 1943, later on a suspension. This version has the
stamp of the Moscow Mint slightly below the center. Some
130.000 of these "flatback" reverse versions with
three rivets were later superceded by the "concave
reverse" in 1950. This specimen is in very good shape
and I have several spare ones, with documents and without. See
