Orders

until 16 June 1943 were on a suspension (type 1). Type two existed
from 1943 until 11 March 1985 when on the ocassion of the 40th
anniversary of the victory in the Great patriotic war Type 3

-KMD, Moscow - MMD and Leningrad - LMD) and the Moscow factory
Platinopribor - MZPP. They came in many variations and sub-variations.
This award is made in the Moscow factory Platinopribor (MZPP)
where the production of type 2 started in 1944. It was made
in 2 variations with several sub-variations. The award is more

other mints the handle of the sickle is different (click on
thumbail for detail). Variation 1 does not have a mint mark

and both had a mint mark (1st with nos. 190378-199614 and the
