Instituted on 8 July 1944 and awarded to mothers of 8 children.(3rd
degree 7, 1st degree 9 children). This is version 3 with number
298529 and has a large ring (number range 272946–586983). Variation
1 had no mint mark, variation 2 has a small ring (number range
21643–259112) and variation 4 had its number engraved by a rotating
tool (nos. 615228–1697081).
The suspension is type type "b" with a flat reverse
(type "a" has mirror reverse and type "c"
was thicker and made of copper). Good condition but without
document. I have several spare copies that someone may be interested
