Version 4 R1
  Maternal Glory 2nd Class

Instituted on 8 July 1944 and awarded to mothers of 8 children.(3rd degree 7, 1st degree 9 children). This is version 4 with number 799498 and has its number engraved by a rotating tool (nos. 615228–1697081). Variation 3 has a large ring (number range 272946–586983), variation 1 had no mint mark and variation 2 has a small ring (number range 21643–259112).
Suspension type "b" has flat reverse (type "a" has mirror reverse and type "c" was thicker and made of copper). Good condition but without document. I have several spare copies that someone may be interested in. See awards for exchange page or contact me.
