Red
Banner of Labour | |
Order of the Red Banner of Labour (Орден Трудового Красного Знамени Orden Trudovogo Krasnogo Znameni), instituted on 7 September 1928 and awarded for exceptional service in scientific achievement, public or government service. It was established as the civilian counterpart of the military Order of the Red Banner and was awarded for exceptional working achievements.
Very
common and due to mass production (about 1.2 million awarded)
many variations (until 1943 it was a screwback). Very
intricate and practically forgery proof, made of silver with
some gold plating. Good condition, issued in the 50s
- a nice specimen but no document. I have some spares
- see the awards for exchange page!
