Instituted
in 1935 with some 1,5 milllion awards issued altogether (many
variations due to mass production in several mints). Early
versions were screw-backs
issued until 1943. Some 130.000 of these "flatback"
reverse versions with three rivets were superceded by the
"concave
reverse" in 1950. This specimen is in very good shape
and I have several spare ones, with documents and without.
