I have found a damaged medal with orange and black striped ribbons (2 orange and 3 black). The face is identical to one called "Medal for Valiant Labour during Great Patriotic War 1941-1945". The back of mine appears to say "3A NO6EAY HAA TEPMAHNEN" and is dated '41-45. Can you tell me what it is and its significance? Do you think it is an original medal or are these copies? Value (damaged)??
----------------
Hi,

thanks for visiting the site. The medal you have is the Medal for Victory over geremany, quite common, have never seen a fake, but one would have to see it (it is unlikely though)seefor example variation two on my site http://soviet-medals-orders.com/medals/thumnails/mm/mm68_211_v2_t.shtml (there are 4 variations distinguished by the ring).
The value is only a few dollars really (maximum ten) as there were milions issued.

HI, your unknown badge is a FSB bage, basicaly the "new KGB" in Russia.

The bage is in the Form of the old KGB Bages, just look for KGB Bages on line and you will see, bty... the one you have is real. They are hard to come by.

ok the plant pin you have, is just some Popraganda thing, basicaly remeber Lenin, and his message, type thing... actually. Its amazing how he was adored, even though he personal signed the Romanov's Death Warrent.
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR QUEST

Hello,
Do you have any of these medals available?
- Defense of Odessa
- Defense of Sevastopol
- Liberation of Belgrade

Please specify which variation for each and the price.
Do you guarantee authenticity of medals with a return policy?

Thanks,
Etienne
----------------
Hi Etienne,

I have none of the one's you are looking for. I am not a dealer, just a collector and prefer to exchange. Pieces I have for this purpose are to the best of my knowledge originals, when I have doubts, and sometimes there are doubts, I say so and its up to you to decide on authenticity.

Hello. Very good site. I began taking items around to our schools during our Remembrance Day week. I became interested in Soviet medals and Orders for a personnal collection. What I need is to find an Order of Glory 2nd Class. This is probably the highest Order I will be able to aquire due to the rapidly climbing costs. Could you help in this area, or steer me in the right direction. Thank you very much. Once again great site. Best wishes and regards from Canada.
Gary
----------------
Dear Gary,

thanks for visiting, join also the Forum if you wish. A Glory second class is hard to come by, they are heavily forged because they are identical with the 3rd class except the gold plating on the centre of the medailon. They do not come cheap either, see my links page for reputable dealers ... they sometimes have them, Otherwise I have no spares but will keep an eye our for you if you wish. Please confirm receipt, I am not only replying but also testing a new function of the guestbook!

Good luck and until next time,
Oldrich
