I am very interested in obtaining records of the medal recipients I own. I went on Podvig-Naroda.ru but you cannot look up the records by the medal number.
Is there a way to find the person the medal was awarded to by its number?

| help identifying ribbon and medal please- Circular gold coloured medal with female figure holding aloft a sheaf of wheat. Reverse has 25, a star, and some words in cyrillic. Ribbon is red with white edge. My guess is productivity badge on a farm. |

| I know that you deal with more grandiose decorations than simple civilian soviet pins ( I have lots of interesting objects from memorabilia sellers in Lviv) but are you able to direct me to sources that help me date them to an approximate period (even decades are helpful)? Sources that include things like when the soviets started using certain shapes such as pentagons for pins would be handy - thanks! |
